There is nothing wrong with seeking out some extra help and support when you need it.

For some people changes in their lives such as the breakdown of a relationship or a bereavement may be a reason to come to counselling. For others, it may be feelings of anxiety or low mood. It may be hard sometimes to identify a specific issue and counselling can offer a safe place to help you to talk through your feelings and to clarify them.

It is important to note that you do not need to be in a crisis or to know exactly what the problem is to gain some benefit from counselling. Counselling can provide an opportunity to be truly listened to and to not be judged or told what to do.
